Gillian is an experienced Chairman and Non-Executive Director following an executive career as a Marketing Director and CEO. She launched the Next Directory in 1988 and the Royal Mail turnaround in the 2000’s. In 2012 she was appointed to the Industrial Development Advisory Board advising UK Ministers and has been reappointed for a third 3 year term.

She has Board experience in Retail, Energy, Technology, Leisure, Sport and Financial Services across quoted, founder owned, private equity and public service. She won the “unquoted/private equity” category award for her Board commercial and governance work at NISA in the 2014 Sunday Times Non-Executive Director Awards.

Gillian is Chairman of Zoo Digital plc, an international cloud based technology business, Jisp.com linking on and off-line retail from start up in 2014 to an enterprise value of £25m and growing fast, Peasy.com a Fintech to get small businesses paid fast and Brighter Beauty a Beauty and Hair salon “buy and build.”

She Chaired Senet Group till April 2020 working with the major global gambling operators to raise standards for customers, dealing with complex regulatory business issues with all key stakeholders and running the “When the Fun Stops, Stop” and digital responsible gambling consumer advertising campaigns.
