2025 was an important year for Earth Capital. Our refreshed brand and strategy helped sharpen our focus on supporting businesses at the forefront of growth and sustainability innovation. Despite various political headwinds, impact investing has continued strongly over the last twelve months, and while the word “sustainability” might be less prominent in companies’ customer-facing messaging, the concept – more important than the label – has increasingly been embedded into the fabric of successful growth businesses. We’re proud of the progress Earth Capital has made in supporting innovative businesses this year, across our fundraising, M&A advisory and value-creation services, while remaining conscious that there is much more to do as the sector grows and evolves.
“Earth Capital’s role is to make sure high-impact businesses have the capital, clarity and support they need to scale responsibly. 2025 has been a record year for us in playing that role, and we’re looking forward to expanding our services further in 2026.” — Robert Timms, Director, Earth Capital
Building the Ecosystem
This year, we launched Sustainable Conversations, our podcast featuring founders, impact investors, and industry leaders. Each episode explores real-world challenges, innovative technologies, and lessons from scaling impact-driven businesses, providing practical insights for those focusing on investment-driven growth.
We also hosted the first Earth Capital Summit, which highlighted the fact that growth and purpose can very effectively advance together, with innovation, measurable impact and strategic business development partnerships at the core. Investors increasingly demand evidence of real outcomes, emphasising the importance of performance improvement, operational efficiency and scalability potential based around impact-driven initiatives. Collaborations across borders, sectors, and public-private partnerships were identified as essential targets to unlocking meaningful and lasting impact.
Additionally, we hosted Unpacking IP: Strategies for Protection, Valuation, and Commercial Success, helping businesses maximise the value of their intellectual property – a critical factor in driving growth and investor confidence.
In terms of business development, we successfully launched Fractional CFO services. We welcomed our first clients for this service, which enables clients to accelerate operational growth and fundraising/transactional readiness.
Earth Capital Research has been launched to provide data-driven insights on different impact sectors, supporting investors and entrepreneurs in navigating complex landscapes. You can read our first report on the water sector here.

Leadership and Team Growth
We celebrated the promotion of Florence Seabright to COO and welcomed Emma Bickerstaffe as Growth Advisor, bringing over 15 years of experience in financial services, impact investing, and ESG consulting.
Alongside this, we formally established our Advisory Board in 2025, bringing together senior experts from across investment, growth strategy, and impact-led sectors. The board has met monthly throughout the year, providing market insight and practical guidance as we scale our services. These regular sessions have played a key role in refining our strategic direction and supporting disciplined, sustainable growth across the business.

Finally, we are delighted to introduce our first end-of-year Earth Capital prize (not to be confused with the Earthshot prize!), on this occasion for the most outstanding brand co-ordination. Congratulations and thank you to Döne Yalçin, partner at international law firm CMS, who joined the panel at our Summit in an outfit that perfectly complemented the Earth Capital colours. We loved it!
From all of us at Earth Capital, thank you for being part of our journey. See you in 2026!
