Earth Capital strongly believes in promoting diversity and creating an inclusive culture for all its employees. We are committed to becoming an employer of choice by creating an inclusive and supportive working environment where people are treated with dignity and respect and where discrimination and/or exclusion are not tolerated. Our goal is to ensure these commitments, reinforced by our values, are embedded in our day-to-day working practices.
Women in Finance
Earth Capital has made a pledge for gender balance across Financial Services by signing up to the Women in Finance Charter.
This is a commitment by HM Treasury and signatory firms to work together to build a more balanced and fair industry. Firms that sign up to this Charter are pledging to be the best businesses in the sector.
As a signatory of the Women in Finance Charter Earth Capital (EC) is required to commit to a number of actions to promote gender diversity and inclusion. EC pledges to promote gender diversity and inclusion by:
- Having a senior executive, the Chief Sustainability Officer who reports directly to the CEO on this issue and both are responsible and accountable for gender diversity and inclusion.
- Ensuring there is female representation for every role advertised and 100% unbiased resourcing practices, including: equal opportunities; gender mixed agencies; mix of male and female assessors; recruitment training for hiring managers.
- Setting an overall company target of at least 30% female colleagues at every level of the business by mid 2021.
We will publish our progress annually against these targets in reports. In addition part of the executive bonus scheme will be linked to delivery against these internal targets on gender diversity.
